Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to 2019! As we enter the New Year, I would like to thank all of our members and colleagues in the industry who have attended our roundtable events this past year to make our programs a success. And special thanks to our sponsors, who make our events exceptional.
The CSCMP NYC roundtable has exciting news!
We are expanding to include the state of NJ into our region, and will now be the CSCMP NY/NJ Roundtable!
We are welcoming four new board members from the NJ team, and look forward to expanding our programs and tours throughout the bilateral state area. Look for continued changes as we develop our LinkedIn profile, Twitter accounts, and marketing efforts to share the good news and keep our members informed.
As always, our goal is to serve you, our members, with a spirit of partnership and enthusiasm to Connect, Develop and Educate. January will begin with a great tour of MSG followed by a networking event, and March brings innovation first and forefront as we look into how AI is changing supply chains. To be held at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, its only a 20 minute ferry ride from Wall Street – a must see event, where Rick Blasgen will join us to help lead the discussion. April will focus on digitalization, a tour of Amazon in May and an end of year networking event at TopGolf.
In addition, we are launching a “From the Field” program that promotes membership interaction. Want to share an update or connect with those in the know? Our “From the Field” website blog and sharing platform will allow members to connect with the latest information in supply chain from you – because who knows more about supply chain challenges and innovations than our own members?
All of these events are developed with you, in mind. So join in, get involved, and we look forward to seeing you in 2019.
