Port of NY/NJ Marine Terminal & Port Warehouse Tour

Join the us for an overview of Maher Terminal, a tour of Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT), and a tour of a port warehouse operator.

 

The Port Authority of NY/NJ will host the group and provide an brief introduction to all port operations in the second largest port in the United States.  Maher Terminal will provide an overview of their operations and a video tour of their operation.  A bus will then take the tour guest over to PNCT for a guided tour of their operation.  Once the PNCT concludes, guests will be taken over to a warehouse operation within minutes of the port terminals.

The Destination Maternity 406,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Florence, NJ is truly an Omni-Channel fulfillment center, handling all aspects of the Company’s retail and wholesale distribution, e-commerce fulfillment and reverse logistics processing for the U.S. and International markets.  The DC was previously featured in Modern Material Handling Magazine’s Technology Issue and was a finalist for the annual CSCMP Innovation Award.

All equipment and software are managed by a Warehouse Execution System (WES), which interfaces with a host ERP.
