The CSCMP NY/NJ roundtable has been nominated for World Trade Week NYC's 2019 "Global Trade Award", in recognition of its demonstrated dedication, commitment and contributions that have supported the growth of trade in the New York region.
On behalf of our board, let me convey that we are honored to have our roundtable receive this nomination. Our board members, all volunteers and supply chain professionals, are dedicated to developing programs that serve the interests of our members, and colleagues in the industry. As part of our ongoing efforts, in early 2019, we merged the CSCMP NYC and NJ roundtables into a single group to better serve the bi-state area and industry, full of talented and creative professionals. To this end, we use our resources to promote scholarships for students from our local universities to ensure the continuation of our profession from one generation to the next, filled with skilled trade professionals. We have gratitude for all those who have supported our programs, be they members of the board, our roundtable, or others in the community with whom we serve.
